Natalie & Clay! {Chico Wedding Photographer}

Natalie and Clay brought a little exotic to my life with their wedding on Saturday at the beautiful White Ranch in Chico.  They met in South Africa, where he is a journalist and she works in human rights.  Many friends and family came from South Africa and from Britain, wowing me with their charming English accents.

You could see during the ceremony that Natalie was absolutely suffused with love watching Clay.  Bursting, brimming. It was so moving to watch.  They did not make it to the end of the ceremony without kissing since they simply could not help themselves.

The donkeys below are trained wedding party veterans.  As soon as you get anywhere near, they begin braying and wheezing loudly over the fence.  They can be placated with fruit from the orchard, or a bridal bouquet or two.  

The day was a beautiful blending of families and cultures.  Warmth and love were in the air.  What a beautiful wedding.  I am so honored to have been your photographer!
