I swore I wouldn't turn into one of those parents who boasts about their child until everyone around them falls unconscious.
Well, except maybe this once.
My daughter Georgia has the math gene, though she denies this. She's a huge fan of Pi - the number without end - and her class celebrated National Pi Day on March 14. She sees strings of numbers as pictures in her head, and when the class was assigned the task of memorizing Pi to 30 digits, she became fascinated and kept going. And going. And going. She's at 700+ and finds it calming.
That's my girl.
